Sheldon Adelson – Congressional Paymaster

Netanyahu Speaks, Money Talks. (Sheldon Adelson . – Congressional Paymaster)

… Netanyahu gets the best of both of Adelson’s worlds — his powerful propaganda machine in Israel and his campaign cash here in the United States. Combined, they allow Netanyahu to usurp American foreign policy as he manipulates an obliging US Congress enamored of Adelson’s millions, pushing it further to the right on Israel and the Middle East.

There you have it: Not only is this casino mogul the unofficial head of the Republican Party in America (“he with the gold rules”), he is the uncrowned King of Israel — David with a printing press and checkbook instead of a slingshot and a stone. All of this came to the fore in Netanyahu’s speech on Tuesday: the US cannot determine its own policy in the Middle East and the majority in Congress are under the thumb of a foreign power.

Like a King Midas colossus, Sheldon Adelson bestrides the cause of war and peace in the most volatile region of the world. And this is the man who — at Yeshiva University in New York in 2013 — denounced President Obama’s diplomatic efforts with Iran and proposed instead that the United States drop an atomic bomb in the Iranian desert and then declare: “See! The next one is in the middle of Tehran. So, we mean business. You want to be wiped out? Go ahead and take a tough position and continue with your nuclear development.”

Everything you need to know about Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress Tuesday was the presence in the visitor’s gallery of that man. We are hostage to his fortune.

AIPAC – What must be said !!!

April 23, 2014

What must be said about AIPAC !!!

AIPAC and its member organizations have developed a systematic scheme to extract

hundreds of billions of dollars from the United States Treasury for the benefit of Israel.

At a time when many Americans are financially strapped and America’s infrastructure

is crumbling, one wonders why AIPAC feels no shame about its un-ending

machinations to drain our treasury. – Does it lack a conscience?

It is high time to un-elect those representatives in our government who rank Israel

above our own country:

113th United States Congress

Ours, a representative government – Really?

May 25, 2013

We are told that ours is a representative government.

In reality, our government represents only the interests of well-funded lobbies.  –

Special interests rule through a system of payola and backdoor manipulations. –

Our governance has become thoroughly corrupt. –

American citizens, just like citizens of other nations, are slaves to these disloyal masters.

Crooks and shysters are in control.

How the Israel Lobby works in the USA

December 30, 2012

Many of the most serious dangers facing Americans today stem from our “special relationship” with Israel

Our uniquely massive support for Israel has cost trillions of dollars and multitudes of lives. It has diminished our moral standing in the world, lessened our domestic freedoms, and exposed us to unnecessary and growing peril. The majority of Americans – as well as our diplomatic and military experts – oppose this unique relationship. Yet, the lobby for Israel continues to foment policies that are disastrous for our nation and tragic for the region. … American taxpayers give Israel over $8 million per day …. On top of this are the costs of the Iraq war:  hundreds of thousands of lives & over $3 trillion.   The costs of the the Iraq war, which was promoted by Israel partisans, are almost incalculable and are still growing.  …. Many analysts consider the pro-Israel interest group the most powerful lobby in our nation. It consistently drives U.S. policies, to the detriment of Americans. ….

AIPAC – Tax Status Challenged

October 26, 2012

IRS responds to AIPAC lobbying junkets to Israel complaints.

During the 2011 summer recess more than 80 members of Congress were flown to Israel in a massive lobbying junket according to a participant list compiled by Legistorm. IRmep’s Center for Policy and Law Enforcement filed a comprehensive criminal complaint (PDF) about AIEF on September 9, 2011. It detailed how AIPAC skirted reform laws passed in 2007 intended to prevent lobbies from funding such travel by using the AIEF as a slush fund. The AIEF has no employees and is housed within AIPAC’s Washington, DC headquarters. Although AIEF claims to be an educational organization, it has never made educational material directly available to the public or academic peer reviewers.

On September 10, 2012 the IRS mailed identical responses (PDF) to petitioners stating “This letter responds to your letter …concerning alleged lobbying activities by the AIPAC and/or the AIEF…I can tell you that we maintain an ongoing examination program to ensure exempt organizations continue to meet the requirements for tax-exempt status.”

The Iron Fist in Tampa

…. The extraordinary hostility of the GOP hierarchy to Ron Paul and his supporters hardly comes as a shock: Paul is, after all, the single most trenchant critic of our interventionist foreign policy since William Jennings Bryan, and he is the War Party’s deadly enemy. To the servitors of the military-industrial complex, the foreign lobbyists, and would-be Napoleons of the neocon persuasion who hold the reins of power in the GOP, he is the Devil Incarnate. So unwelcome is Paul’s presence that I doubt they’ll even allow him on the convention floor, even given that his more pliable son is one of the speakers. And you can bet Rand Paul’s speech will be vetted under a magnifying glass well in advance: these are people who hate surprises. ….

Orchestrating War on Iran

August 23, 2012

Complete Media silence about Israel’s plans to drag the USA into an unnecessary war on Iran.

AIPAC is pushing us to war with Iran for Israel

Netanyahu inciting against Obama on way to war with Iran

In the run-up to an Iran attack, Netanyahu crossed every boundary, with the help of Jewish-American mogul Sheldon Adelson, to unseat Obama. And Ehud Barak, the boy from the kibbutz, is standing by his side on this balcony of incitement. …

Israel Delivers “Or Else” Demands to Obama

…  The message was a warning that the Strong Man of the Middle East will go to war against Iran before Election Day, November 6, unless Barack Obama meets two Israeli demands. The warning was delivered by the New York Times in a news analysis, “Israeli Leaders Could Be Dissuaded From Striking Iran”, by the Times’ Jerusalem correspondent, Jodi Rudoren.  …

President Obama

The White House.   Washington,  DC.

Fax 202-456-2461

Subject: Please – No War on Iran!

Dear President Obama.                       8/21/2012.

AIPAC and the Israel Lobby has swindled us into an unnecessary war on Iraq. – It now promotes another un-necessary attack on Iran. America will probably be dragged into this conflict by default. – The result may become a major world conflict.

Senators Joseph Lieberman, Lindsey Graham, and Robert Casey introduced a resolution that would move America further down the path toward war with Iran.

Iran is not a threat to any state in the Middle-East. – Rather, Israel is the primary conflict instigator!

Three years ago, General Clark stated that the Pentagon planned attacks on 7 counties in that region. Iran was named as one of those countries. – The Israel Lobby is deeply ensconced in Pentagon strategy planning.

America can not afford such a major conflict in light of its current fiscal problems.

The whole world considers our Middle-East policy as foolish and lacking moral rectitude.

Nothing could be more disastrous for America and nothing could be less necessary than war with Iran. …

Please keep America out of this conflict,

Thanks, A.v.S

Increased Israel chatter on Iran is about sending a message to Washington

a call for an unequivocal commitment from the Obama administration to take the lead in such an attack or to come to Israel’s aid if it goes first. …

a series of public statements by Israel’s ambassador to Washington, Michael Oren, suggesting that an Israeli strike would reap sufficient rewards to justify it  …

Still, Obama administration officials are not yet publicly buying the rhetoric. …

Netanyahu, who has had tense relations with Obama, is seen as close to the Republicans and has a longstanding friendship with Romney. …

Barack Obama must make a public case before promising to strike Iran.

For years now, Israelis have been noisily debating military action against Iran. And their conclusion, according to polls, is that America should do it. That’s somewhat ironic given that self-reliance—never again putting Jewish destiny in non-Jewish hands—is core to the Zionist ideal. But it’s also quite rational: an American strike would likely set back Tehran’s nuclear progress far more than an Israeli one would. And an American strike would not leave Israel as isolated in the world.  ….

Obama’s Drift Toward War With Iran

…  The cooked-up crisis, over Iran’s supposed option of “breaking out” to manufacture a weapon, goes on a false premise. As Gary Sick has explained, such an action would require Iran to expel the IAEA inspectors who are free to order a surprise look at any site.  …

it surely serves the interest of Netanyahu to stoke unreal fears, provided this can be done indirectly, through “legitimate” channels like the New York Times, as well as more extravagant channels like the casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson. In a recent address (summarized by Michael Isikoff in an excellent piece of reporting), Adelson said that “unfortunately” he had worn an American uniform rather than an Israeli one when he served in the armed forces. That is the mode of thinking on that side.  ….

The right-wing coalition government of Netanyahu “had told the Obama administration that they could accept diplomacy as long as Washington expected it would fail.”  …

in 2011, Admiral Mike Mullen, said more than once that an Israeli strike against Iran “would be a big, big, big problem for all of us.” …

Nothing could be more disastrous for America and nothing could be less necessary than war with Iran.
